The Tuesday Blog Hop is themed. Each week we announce a new theme and participants create a blog post that fits the theme. Each participant includes the Blog Hop Code for that week so that the same Blog Hop list appears on every blog allowing readers to "hop" from blog to blog.

1. It's fun. Hop around quickly from blog to blog learning and discovering new blogs and interesting content
2. Depending on sponsor sign up, we have prizes you can win.
3. Participants are part of a web of links that taken together, increase the exposure of each blog
4. By participating you become new traffic to other blogs, and those blogger become new traffic for you
5. As the Blog Hop grows in popularity, the overall value of the links grow, and more and more new traffic is generated for all involved

The $100 is provided by a sponsor who receives a text ad/link under the blog hop list, an advertisement on the blog entry form, and their link gets to appear in the top part of the blog list.

Sponsors can also be those who offer a prize of some sort that we can give away during a Blog Hop.

Each week, we'll have a theme. You will write a blog post for that theme, and then put in the appropriate blog hop code so that the blog hop list will show on your blog.

The MckLinky list will build itself as soon as people start putting up their posts. No matter what blog people are on, they will be entering links to the VERY SAME list... so the list will grow on every blog where it is posted.

Once the Blog Hop opens, use the link below the Blog Hop list to add your blog. The link says "click here to enter your link..."

That's what makes it a "blog hop". No matter which blog people use to enter the link to THEIR BLOG, everyone will see the exact same list on all the participating blogs (and if you enter a link to your blog, you should do everyone a favor and participate in the Blog Hop). This allows people to "hop around" and visit an entire list of blogs and not lose track of where they've visited. The reason we have a new list every week is to keep the list fresh and in a different order each week.
