The MckLinky Blog Hops are a great way to get new traffic.

The Giveaways, Contests & Prizes Blog Hop is a standard MckLinky Blog Hop that we run every Friday.

What is a Blog Hop? Explanation here...It is a group of bloggers who display the SAME LIST OF LINKS on their blogs, usually with some sort of theme or topic. This gives readers a list of links to "hop" on... they "hop" from blog to blog to blog, seeing the same list of links on each blog.  Here's a demo...

So I'm sharing my visitors? Yes, but that's good. Explanation here...On the Giveaway Blog Hop, yes, you will be sharing YOUR readers with other giveaway blogs, but the reverse is also true: dozens of other giveaway blogs will be sharing their audience with you. Everyone's audience will see a ton of new traffic. What comes around, goes around.

Are there a few rules? Yes, read them here...

• You must be conducting a giveaway, contest, prize drawing. Visitors must have a chance to win something.
• You must have the MckLinky Blog Hop List displayed on the post or use the code that directs them to Blog Hop Central (you'll get the code when you sign up).
• The prize must be tangible, legitimate and have value (can they find it free somewhere else? Then that's no value.)
• Adult products, pornography, illicit drug related items or anything remotely illegal will not be approved for participation. By "adult" we don't mean tasteful undergarments or lingerie that our female audience would enjoy. We mean overtly sexual "things".

• You can have multiple entries on the Giveaway Blog Hop, but they must be legitimate, separate contests or giveaways, and each post much display the Blog Hop list. Each Blog Hop entry MUST GO TO A SEPARATE POST AT A SEPARATE LINK. The biggest complaint I get is when multiple titles/links go the same exact page.
• You can ONLY have a link on this Blog Hop list if you are participating and meeting the requirements (with the exception of $100 sponsors, who can sponsor the event, display their ad, and link to whatever they want).
• YOU must choose your winners and deliver the prize. Reports of prizes not being awarded or delivered will make you ineligible to participate.
